CHARLIE MORGAN ON PROGRESSING IN WRESTLING

The SPTT were lucky enough to interview wrestler Charlie Morgan about her career, the challenges that she has overcome in her career and in her personal life.

 

Wrestler Charlie Morgan, 25, has been wrestling since 2011 and is openly gay. Having recently made a huge impact in her promotion Pro-Wrestling EVE, she feels that it’s important to remain open and frank about her sexuality in her work, in order to inspire other people.
 
Morgan, real name Yasmin Lander, has been speaking to us about the challenges faced by female and LGBT wrestlers. She talks to the SPTT about how preconceptions of women wrestlers have changed in recent years, and also lends advice to aspiring wrestlers, stating just how important it is to truly invest in yourself and believe in your own capabilities.
