Martyn Rooney, Team GB Olympic 400m runner, took time out of his busy training schedule to have a conversation with the SPTT’s Calum Gaughan about the importance of current athletes being able to give their insight and play a role within British Athletics.
Amidst the ongoing allegations of doping that continue to surround the world of sport, Martyn also gives his take on why catching those using illegal substances can be viewed as a positive step for the long-term integrity of the sport, despite the negative picture it paints of athletics.
