Olympic Boxer Joe Joyce highlights the importance of giving back with the help of inspirational mother, Marvel Opara.
Joyce recently turned pro, and was in attendance for his mother’s charity auction, raising money to climb mount Kilimanjaro for The RNIB (Royal National Institute for the Blind).
Marvel has always been sporty and active, in-spite of having less than 7% vision for most of her life. Her exploits include tandem biking around Thailand and Snowmobiling across Norway. All of which has been in aid of the RNIB, to continue their excellent work.
The heavyweight boxer is an advocate of community activism and giving back to sport having recently trained and mentored young people at Clapham festival.
